MAFWDA has made arrangements with the Forest Manager of Green Ridge State Forest in Flintstone, Maryland to participate in a volunteer weekend. This will be a camp and work project with those camping arriving the afternoon of Friday April 10th, volunteer work Saturday April 11th, and departing on Sunday.
A primitive group camp site (G-6) has been reserved for us for the weekend. The proposed work consist of restoring a couple primitive camp sites and a trail accessing the Chesapeake and Ohio Tow Path along the Potomac River.
This is a family oriented weekend event.
